1. Grant of License

PS Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Safety Signal for personal, non-commercial purposes on iOS devices you own or control, subject to this EULA and applicable App Store terms.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the app
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to third-party APIs, systems, or datasets used by the app
• Resell, redistribute, or lease the app
• Use the app to build or support a competing commercial data service without permission

3. Intellectual Property

Safety Signal and all associated content are owned by PS Labs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your use of the app does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights.

4. Third-Party Services

Safety Signal uses third-party services and data sources, including:

• Police UK API: For local crime and policing information.
• Weather data providers: For current conditions and forecast data.
• Air quality data providers: For local air quality information.
• Street lighting data providers: For lighting-related information where available.
• Flood risk data providers: For flood warnings, alerts, or risk information where available.
• Apple In-App Purchases: For subscription billing and management.

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms, availability, and data quality.

5. Location Use & Privacy

Safety Signal may use your device location to provide nearby safety and environmental information. Relevant data may be sent to third-party providers to return results within the app. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for additional details.

6. Subscriptions

Safety Signal may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• All payments are processed by Apple, not PS Labs.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings.
• Pricing, billing periods, and available features are displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
• Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple under its own policies.

7. Disclaimers

Safety Signal is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PS Labs does not guarantee:

• The completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of data from Police UK or other third-party sources
• Continuous availability of any third-party API, dataset, or subscription service
• That the app will always reflect current real-world safety conditions
• That the app will meet your specific requirements or be error-free

8. Safety Notice

Safety Signal is provided for informational purposes only and must not be relied on as an emergency, medical, navigation, or law-enforcement service. In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services immediately and use your own judgment regarding personal safety.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PS Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, service interruptions, or reliance on third-party information.

10. Changes to Terms

PS Labs reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the app or this website. Your continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you violate any term of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app and destroy any downloaded copies.

12. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
