This Privacy Policy describes how AutoTracker ("the App"), developed by PS Labs, handles your information. AutoTracker is designed exclusively for use in the United Kingdom.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it.

Data Storage

AutoTracker does not store any of your personal data on external servers or in the cloud. All data collected and used by the App is stored locally on your device only.

We do not operate any databases or server-side storage that holds your personal information.

Account & Subscriptions

Free Tier: The free tier of AutoTracker does not require you to create an account. You can use the App without providing any personal registration details.

Subscription Tier: If you choose to subscribe to the premium tier, the subscription is managed entirely through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment details directly. All billing and subscription management is handled by Apple in accordance with their terms and privacy policy.

Cancellations: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the standard Apple subscription management process on your device (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).

Vehicle Data (DVLA & DVSA)

To provide vehicle information, the App uses the vehicle registration number you enter to make API calls directly from your device to the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) and DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency).

• The API request is made directly from your device — your registration number and the retrieved data do not pass through or get stored on any PS Labs server or third-party system.
• The data returned from these API calls is stored locally on your device and cached for convenience.
• Cached data is automatically refreshed on a monthly basis.
• A refresh is also triggered when you request one manually or submit a new vehicle registration in the App.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identification information
• Payment or financial information
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioural data sent to our servers
• Vehicle registration numbers or DVLA/DVSA response data on any external system

Third-Party Services

The App interacts with the following third-party services:

• DVLA / DVSA APIs: Used to retrieve publicly available vehicle information based on the registration number you provide. These requests are made directly from your device.
• Apple In-App Purchases: Used to manage subscription billing. Apple's own privacy policy applies to this process. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Advertisement & Analytics

AutoTracker displays non-personalized advertisements to free tier users via Google AdMob. These ads:

• Do NOT track user behavior or personal information
• Do NOT collect data beyond basic technical metrics (impressions, clicks)
• Are not personalized based on user profiles or activity
• Are hidden for Pro tier subscribers

Ad impressions and engagement are logged for analytics purposes only. No personally identifiable information is shared with advertising partners.

Children's Privacy

AutoTracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
